Kathryn Tyler's Description:
Kathryn studied Graphic Design at Falmouth College of Arts. After graduating in 2000 she took an internship assisting the Interiors Editor of Wallpaper* Magazine and along with her long-standing obsession with furniture and architecture this culminated in turning her attention towards the world of interiors.
Kathryn started her career by establishing the interior department at Absolute Design where she found her niche and style direction delivering numerous understated and timeless projects including the Falmouth College of Arts Cafe and Bar, Indaba and Hunkydory Restaurants.
In 2004 Kathryn set up her own interior design consultancy, Linea Studio, to focus on creating distinctive, high-quality contemporary spaces with a emphasis on bespoke fittings and graphic details.
Kathryn has long standing partnerships with local makers and maintains a buy local philosophy whenever possible. Her ethos informs a sustainable approach to all aspects of her projects and she gives her clients schemes with enduring appeal across a range of sectors. Her commitment to creative design and professional management ensures that she translates clients’ ideas into successful sustainable projects, which work both aesthetically and commercially.
